DESCRIPTION

In the Season of Arrivals in Destiny 2, Rasputin was forcibly shut down during the arrival of the Darkness ships in the solar system. Ever since, Ana Bray has been working tirelessly to find a way to bring him back since. WIth recent advances in this plotline, I saw this as a prime opportunity to design an exotic mission for a season focused around helping Ana Bray bring back Rasputin.

Ever since Rasputin was shut down at beginning of the Season of Arrivals, lore throughout the game has shown Ana Bray working tirelessly to find a way to bring Rasputin back. Bit by bit, the lore has hinted at her making substantial progress. At the end of the evidence board quest at the end of the Witch Queen campaign, however, players saw a message from the Golden Age thanks to the time rifts found on Mars. This message hinted at an elusive facility, so hidden, that even Rasputin himself had lost all memory of. Given all of this, I saw the opportunity to create my take on what an exotic mission would look like for a Rasputin themed season in the near future. The overarching theme of the mission is "Fixing Rasputin" and as such everything from the setting to the mechanics give players tangible ways of working towards fixing the long lost warmind.
